The Aims and Objects for which the Society has been established are:
To help, assist and provide growth opportunities to members of the Society in the field of academics, sports, fine arts and other similar activities by way of assistance in the form of Facilities, Equipment, Manpower and Financial grants / assistance, as also setting up of Scholarships for students (present and past of GEA School) to study at the School or to undergo any specialised courses, as also for further studies of students in deserving cases.
To maintain, promote and foster friendship and goodwill among Members and between Members and Staff and Teachers (Past and Present) of the General Education Academy, Chembur
To form / help / establish and / or take over the running of educational and / or any related institutions in order to further the aims and objectives of the Society
To foster and develop social concern and create fellowship generally
To assist the members in their careers by personality development, vocational guidance and job placement.
To assist poor and deserving students of the School by providing Scholarships and other help in cash or kind and to help the School in educating students from the weaker sections of the Society and to render professional advice and assistance wherever necessary.
To organise activities for the benefit of the members and the school by way of cultural and social functions
To provide medical assistance and relief to deserving staff members and students of General Education Academy.
To provide recreational facilities, both in-door and out-door
To help people affected by natural calamity, riot, civil commotion, war and other distress and to help Society at Large, irrespective of nationality, religion, caste, creed and social status.
Generally to do all other acts, deeds and things as may
be deemed incidental or conducive to the attainment of all or any of the above
objects.
